Due to the COVID pandemic and distance learning, we are going to consolidate the platforms that we use. So instead of hosting a domain like jfkscience.de, we will utilize the Google Classroom platform exclusively.
This way, students will not have to constantly bounce between a website and Google, they can simply stick with using Google Classroom to stay organized.
If you are in an AP class, you may be asked to utilize supplementary platforms in addition to promote more collaborative work between your peers. These platforms are not obligatory, however, they do offer more collaborative options for when you need to set up distanced group meetings with your peers or with your teachers. They are strongly urged and should be treated as an opportunity for you as students to demonstrate healthy digital citizenship.
Stay healthy and we shall see you all when school reopens in August,

Using Google Classroom
Please check your school e-mail regularly as teachers are enrolling students into Google Classrooms.
During these times of extraordinary outreach, it is important that students are given work to complete and submit. Using a platform like Google Classroom will make assigning, receiving, and grading assignments easier.
Since many teachers across every department it utilizing this system, please make every effort to stay on top of the work that is assigned from week to week.
Remember that you are obligated to be enrolled in school! Failing to complete assignments during these troublesome times are academically detrimental decisions.
Stay healthy and keep learning!
Several changes will occur to the site over the next several days to accommodate the COVID-19 precautions taken by the German government.
Please make the most of the time spent at home to promote your child's learning across every content area. If you find this difficult, welcome to our world as educators!
Consolidation of the sites will likely occur to make the distribution of assignments and content easier for each grade level. Teachers will likely turn to Classrooms or some other means to progressively assess students on their assignments.
For additional information, check the specific sites for class-specific details. Be patient and additional information and updates will be made available as we learn them.
Use the navigation bar above to find your teacher by content area and course section.
Once you've found your teacher, you can sort through the classes they teach and locate information, assignments, or readings specific to a group of students or to a specific course. The sites and organization of pages will vary based on the teacher.
If you have questions about the site, please approach your teacher directly or send them an e-mail. E-mail is the most practical and effective way to get in touch with a teacher if you cannot spare the face to face time between classes.
Maintaining the site is an ongoing process, please demonstrate patience and flexibility when using the site as it is an evolving resource. From one school-year to the next, klassur dates change. So please check the site regularly for updates to test dates!
Good luck and have a wonderful school year.
